Reinforced Plastic Systems, Inc. (RPS) Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada is pleased to announce its acquisition of Non Metallic Resources Inc. and SealTech Inc. (NMR SealTech) of Mobile, Alabama effective July 24, 2008. NMR operates a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility that includes a state-of-the-art vacuum infusion facility (NMR VIPTM), composite structural and equipment manufacturing, pipe and fitting systems manufacturing, and composite testing and applications center. SealTech provides design, construction, and maintenance services specializing in composite equipment and structural components. RPS has retained all NMR SealTech management and staff.
This acquisition further enhances RPS' product line with the addition of NMR's capabilities in dual laminate and vacuum infusion technologies coupled with SealTech turnkey construction and maintenance services. RPS owns and operates eight custom corrosion resistant composite fabrication/manufacturing/service facilities throughout the United States and Canada. These facilities provide corrosion/erosion resistant composite design, equipment, and installation and maintenance services to the Power, FGD, Pollution Control, Chemical Process, Pulp and Paper, Steel and Mineral Processing, and Water and Waste Treatment Industries.
